Removed the conlog immob, alarm and central locking system yesterday. 🙂

Easier than it looks, most wires are relating to the central locking or alarm sensors, siren etc. It was a little worrying cutting the immobiliser feeds; there are about four that actually matter, tapped into the primary power feeds for the fuse box. What a mess.
I suspect this was a dealer fit. The car came with the factory ECU immobiliser, the con-log combo unit and another aftermarket immob fitted (removed by VW ages ago) – what overkill!
The unit appears to have three control boxes: immob unit, alarm unit and a central locking unit.
GTI runs very nicely now – Car is the now back to standard with just the factory ECU immob.
